Phase 1 complete (almost)

Well phase one of the Cenotaph Project is 99.9% complete. The memorial has been cleaned, the name plaques have been refurbished, the paths have been extended and re-surfaced, new up-lighters have been installed, new kerbs have been installed, four flag poles have been installed, and all that remains is information boards need to be put in place. Phase two, the peace garden is all but abandonned and phase three has been taken over by a local vcommunity group as mentioned below.

Take over bid II

Well, a community group has taken over control of one of the phases of the project. An inaugural meeting has already taken place to lay down the aims and to apportion tasks such as identifying potential funding sources. Possible plans were also discussed.
